What is in each PDF
Every worksheet is a two-page PDF that prints in black and white on US Letter paper. Page 1 has 8 to 12 problems on one skill, easier ones first, with room for a name and date. Page 2 is the answer key. Free to print, no sign-up.
How to choose a worksheet
Start with the grade your child is in, then look at the two sample problems on each sheet. If both look easy, try a worksheet further down the list or the next grade up. If they look hard, drop back a grade. Grades are only a rough guide: plenty of children are ahead in one topic and behind in another, and that is normal.
Each topic follows the Common Core math domains, the same groups many schools use: counting, operations, place value, fractions, measurement and geometry. Your child鈥檚 school may teach these in a different order, so check the homework or ask the teacher what is coming up. A worksheet the week before a new topic can make the classroom lesson feel familiar.
If your child is stuck on one skill, the skill guide linked beside each worksheet explains how it works, shows the mistakes children usually make, and has five free questions to try on a screen. Paper and screen practice go well together: print the sheet for the quiet work, and use the guide when you need a way to explain it.
